Why the accuracy of liquid turbine flow meter decreased？

1. The fibrous or viscous debris in the medium is attached to the running part of the flowmeter (impeller), which increases the running frictional resistance,makes the display value less than standard; 
 
2. There are some debris in the liquid which cause wear and tear of the bearings and shafts.  The gap between the bearing and shaft will become larger, the dynamic balance of the moving parts will be destroyed, and the speed will be reduced. 
 
3. The harsh working environment will also have a greater impact on the measurement results, such as electromagnetic field interference, dust, high temperature, vibration, humidity, etc.

Thus, it is important to make sure the liquid is clean enough, install strainer in front of the flow meter and make maintenance on time.
