Whether each electromagnetic flow meter need calibrated every year?

Recently, lots of clients asked whether our electromagnetic flow meter need calibrated each year, the answer is as below:

First, we have no idea how other flow meter suppliers do, every flow meter before leave our factory will under one-to-one calibration ( the flow sensor and flow converter together for calibration on the pipe),and if it reach the calibrated accuracy level, and qualified, it can leave the factory. 

Second,Chinese government has rule that any measuring instrument after used after one year, it required calibration again, but most of clients has no calibration system they only send to us for calibrate while the flow meter is not running normal or not read accurate date.

Third, if the flow meter has some problems of reading, after repair, and the flow sensor parts was open then it must need recalibrated no matter within one year or not.

All in all, as each set of our flowmeter was under strict calibration before leave factory,but due to the application environment change,the installation condition difference, especially the actual measured medium is not the same with the medium while in calibration or have big difference,then the flow meter will have system error, and need recalibrated.  

Our factory has four sets calibration system which covers size from DN10 to DN3000 which have certificates, we can do the calibration in our factory before goods leave factory.

1. DN800mm ~ DN3000mm water flow standard device

2. 0.1 class weighing and volumetric device DN350-DN700 &DN65-DN300

3. DN80mm~DN300mm water flow volumetric & standard meter device(NEW)

4. DN15mm~DN50mm water flow volumetric device
