Thermal Gas Mass Flowmeter Instrallation Requirements

2025-02-25

The Installation Requirements of Thermal Gas Mass Flowmeter are as follows:

1. Installation location: It should be selected in an area where the gas flow is stable, without fluctuations and turbulence, to avoid interference from air flow affecting the measurement results.
2. Installation direction: The thermal gas mass flowmeter should be installed correctly in the direction indicated by the arrow to avoid measurement errors caused by flow reversal.
3. Installation distance: A certain length should be guaranteed in front and behind the thermal gas mass flowmeter to ensure the stability of gas flow. The front usually requires about 10 times the pipe diameter, and the rear requires about 5 times the pipe diameter.
4. Pressure loss: The pressure loss should be minimized during installation to avoid affecting the pressure of the entire system.
5. Temperature influence: The installation location and pipe material selection should take into account the influence of the ambient temperature on the sensor to reduce the influence of temperature difference on measurement accuracy.
6. Interference of pulsating flow: If installed in a pipeline with pulsating flow, measures to reduce pulsation are required, such as installing a filter or using a stable booster device.
