How to choose Parshall flume 

The probe of ultrasonic open channel flowmeter can be directly installed at the place above the level observing point of measuring weir flume.

The probe emitting surface shall be aligned to the water surface and perpendicular with the water surface. The probe shall be made to align the water surface through adjusting the upper cover levelness after putting a level bar on the upper cover of the probe.

The water level observing point of Parshall flume is at 0.1~0.5m from the upstream of the flume; and the water level observing point of triangular weir and rectangular weir is at the 3~4 times of the maximum water depth at the upstream from the weir plate.
