Dual channel ultrasonic flow meter with GPRS
Dual channel ultrasonic flow meter with GPRS have two channel flow sensors.
Sensor 1 and Sensor 2: The dual-channel ultrasonic flow meter uses two sensors placed at different positions along the pipeline. These sensors emit ultrasonic pulses that travel through the medium (fluid or gas) inside the pipe. The time it takes for these pulses to travel between the sensors is used to calculate the flow velocity, and, by using the known pipe diameter, the flow rate can be determined.
GPRS allows for remote monitoring of the flow meter. The device includes a built-in GPRS modem that transmits flow data over cellular networks (via the internet) to a remote server or cloud-based storage. This makes it easy to access real-time data from any location, making the system ideal for remote installations or hard-to-reach locations.
Remote Monitoring System:
The GPRS-enabled flow meter sends data to a cloud-based server or a remote monitoring device. This system may be equipped with data analysis tools that allow operators to monitor flow conditions, set alarms, generate reports, or make adjustments to system settings remotely.
The dual ultrasonic sensors emit ultrasonic waves in opposite directions. The time it takes for the ultrasonic waves to travel between the sensors is measured. Based on this transit time difference, the flow velocity is calculated.
Any kind of flow meter can add GPRS module and realize wireless communication.
