Common Fault Handling Methods for Elliptical Gear Flowmeters

Elliptical flow meter gear does not rotate

Possible reasons:

1) During installation, impurities fell into the gauge and caught the elliptical gear.

Measure: After disassembling, washing, and reinstalling, place according to the mark marked on the elliptical gear

Note: New watches are prone to occur, so place the elliptical gear according to the marked number

2) The measured liquid is not clear, and the filter is filled with impurities.

Measures: Wash the filter to remove impurities

3) The pressure of the measured liquid is too low.

Measures: Increase pressure

2. Oval gear rotates but pointer does not move

Possible reasons:

1) Stuck transmission gear train

Measures: Remove impurities and add lubricating oil

Loose engagement of gear 2

Measure: Retighten the gear

3. There is shaking phenomenon when the pointer rotates

Possible cause: Excessive flow rate, exceeding the specified value

Measure: Adjust the flow rate to the specified value

4. Abnormal noise during elliptical gear rotation

Possible cause: Excessive flow rate, exceeding the specified value

Measure: Adjust the flow rate to the specified value

5. Pointer reversal
