The Rotameter Flowmeter 
The rotameter flowmeter is a variable area flow meter that works based on the float position measurement principle. 
When the fluid flows through the flowmeter, the flow of the fluid impacts the rotor and generates a force on it, the magnitude of which varies with the flow rate.
The rotor rises or falls in the tapered tube until the force acting on the rotor is balanced with the weight of the rotor. At this time, 
the position height of the rotor is proportional to the flow rate of the fluid, and the flow rate is displayed through the indicator.

The characteristics of the rotameter flowmeter include:
Simple and intuitive structure, small pressure loss, and easy maintenance.
Suitable for flow measurement of small-caliber and low-flow-rate media.
Reliable operation, low maintenance, and long life.
Not high requirements for straight pipe sections.
Wide range ratio, generally 10:1.
Double-line large LCD display, optional on-site instantaneous/accumulated flow display, with backlight.
Non-contact magnetic coupling transmission.
All-metal structure, suitable for high temperature, high pressure and highly corrosive media.
Can be used in flammable and explosive dangerous occasions.
Optional two-wire, battery, and AC power supply methods.
